unwanted nuisance following a mishap

I received an inquiry from a firm curious to find out if I’ve pursued any compensation following a recent car mishap.

I received a call from 01372677266, with the caller claiming that I was entitled to some compensation from a third party regarding a recent accident. When I mentioned reaching out to my insurance company, he was quite pushy and insisted that he would give me a ring again. I've since decided to block that number.

I've received two calls where there was just silence on the line. Given the spate of calls I've been getting since I had an accident, I reckon these might be those pesky companies trying to chase up a claim. I've decided to block the number just in case.

I’ve received calls from 372 677266 twice now, and I haven’t picked up either time since I didn't recognise the number. If it were genuinely important, I reckon they’d have left a message. The first voicemail I got was rather odd and pretty hard to understand. As for the second call, no message was left at all. I’m going to go ahead and block this number – doesn’t seem worth my time!

Ringing me several times a day, it's quite intrusive.

Honestly, I can’t believe they’re still going on about my old accident. It’s rather baffling that they consider 1976 to be “recent”! How time flies, yet here we are.

Why not just drop a message if you don't recognise the number calling you? It could save a lot of hassle!
