Received a call from an unfamiliar number, so I decided to let it ring. I've now blocked it.

I chose not to pick up when this number called, as I've been inundated with calls regarding a supposed accident I never actually experienced. It's becoming rather tiresome, to be honest!

I recently received a rather dodgy phone call from a so-called accident claim centre, which is a bit rich considering I don’t even own a car! It’s clearly some sort of scam.

They called but didn’t bother to say a word or leave a message on my mobile, which I’ve registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Motor Assist, discussing an incident where I was hit from behind. The problem is, I've never experienced such an accident. It's rather odd because this so-called "company" has been ringing me repeatedly from various numbers, and to top it all off, my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

I received a call today from someone claiming to discuss a car accident that supposedly occurred about three years back. The thing is, I’ve never been involved in any such incident! There is absolutely no chance I'd divulge my banking information to these dubious "claims representatives." Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

Regrettably, I didn't quite catch the location of the caller when he reached out. He mentioned something about a car accident I supposedly experienced within the last year and a half. He seemed genuinely astonished when I informed him that there hadn't been any incidents on my end. Despite the unexpected nature of his call, he was quite courteous and exuded an air of professionalism.

I've got no clue. I never pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise. Do I happen to know anyone in Esher? Not a soul.
