What an utter bother!

A young woman rang me last week (10th May 2021) claiming to represent Vodafone, eager to offer me their home broadband deals. She was quite insistent about getting me set up as soon as the following day. I suspect it was a scam, as she appeared to be fishing for my personal address information.

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from Vodafone. They managed to get into my account and even locked me out while we were chatting. Strangely enough, he insisted that I was due to renew my Broadband contract, even though it hasn’t expired for another year! There were bits of our discussion that seemed off, but he definitely had a way of speaking that made him seem credible.

I received a rather unsettling call from someone at Vodafone inquiring whether I was interested in a broadband package. Apparently, they had some inkling that I had been researching options, which I found quite intrusive.

I haven’t a clue who’s been trying to reach me, as they didn’t leave any messages. Just a handful of missed calls. I reckon it’s likely a pesky robocaller!

I've received a few calls on my work mobile from this number. When I attempted to return the call, I encountered a disconnected tone, which is rather suspicious. It seems likely to be some sort of spam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number for good measure.

I received a call from this number today (31st March 2020), claiming to be affiliated with Vodafone. It’s worth mentioning that it has been flagged before for involvement in PPI and other fraudulent schemes. The lady on the line introduced herself as Paula, yet she didn’t provide me with any details; however, she had my full name, which was quite unsettling.

Received a call from someone claiming to be Paula, representing Vodafone. They were trying to pitch their broadband services. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Beware of those dodgy characters attempting to extract personal information! I received a call from 01372 302 973, and it certainly raised my suspicions.

I received a call on my home phone from this number earlier today. A young lady on the line had a voice as if she was wading through syrup. She mentioned something about issues with my router, but I couldn’t quite make out the mumbled specifics. I decided to hang up. Definitely a scam from BT, if you ask me!

I received a call inquiring about a car accident and repairs I have no knowledge of. The strange thing is, they didn't even know my name! They quickly ended the call when I pressed for more information. Just a heads up – it seems like a scam to me. Stay alert!
