But sadly, that’s not always followed properly. Because of that, it’s really important to go through any contracts with outside companies closely and make sure you tick out any bits you’re not happy with.

they're so frustrating! i mentioned to them i was recording the call and would report them to both actionfraud and the ico, but it didn’t seem to bother them at all. i've reported them loads of times to the ico, but every time it's from a new company and a different number, so blocking them on my phone is basically pointless.

So this person kept asking me questions about a car crash that never even happened to me. When I told them to remove all my info under GDPR rules, they just hung up right away. I reckon it's because if I don't actually say “delete my data” aloud, they can pretend I never asked for it. Proper dodgy behaviour if you ask me.
