Got a call from someone claiming to be my insurance provider. They went through some simple questions then told me I was overpaying and could save by getting a new plan with the same firm. To switch it over, they asked for my sort code and account number. I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing my bank details on the phone and wasn’t interested in changing my life insurance. I could tell he wasn’t thrilled by my answer.
