Got a call from a call centre today, my phone rang 4 times. You could hear the noise from their office in the background just before someone picked up.

Got a ring from this number saying it was from my internet provider and that some dodgy stuff was going on with my connection. Sounded fishy to me!

My phone rang from this number and when I picked up and said “hello”, there was just silence and then the call ended after like 15 seconds. Tried ringing it back but no luck. Then I used my landline and BT’s voice came on saying the number isn’t valid or something. Very strange!
