2 yearsI got a robocall from a woman’s voice claiming there was “suspicious activity” on my card - something like £300 from Amazon and over £1,000 sent abroad. Since I’ve never made those transactions, the message told me to press 1 to stop the payments or speak to their “advisor.” It was so obviously a scam. They didn’t bother mentioning any names, what bank they supposedly represented, or even if it was my debit or credit card. Honestly, if I had a quid for every time I’ve had one of these Amazon-related scams or similar, I’d be laughing all the way to the bank!Amazon2 yearsToday at about 12:58 I got a message from a robotic female voice saying there’s been some dodgy activity on my card - something like £300 from Amazon and £1,100 from some “International money transfer company”.
