2 yearsI got a robocall from a woman’s voice claiming there was “suspicious activity” on my card - something like £300 from Amazon and over £1,000 sent abroad. Since I’ve never made those transactions, the message told me to press 1 to stop the payments or speak to their “advisor.” It was so obviously a scam. They didn’t bother mentioning any names, what bank they supposedly represented, or even if it was my debit or credit card. Honestly, if I had a quid for every time I’ve had one of these Amazon-related scams or similar, I’d be laughing all the way to the bank!Amazon2 yearsBlimey, yet another scam attempt! Today at 12:58, I received a message from a robotic woman claiming there were dubious transactions on my account-£300 for Amazon and £1,100 for some so-called "international money transfer company." She instructed me to "Press 1 to cancel the request or to chat with an advisor." It’s quite clear this is a scam; they didn't even bother to mention my name, the name of my bank, or what type of card was allegedly involved.
