Got a ring this morning around 8.45 from a woman with an Asian accent, but it was really hard to hear her cause of loads of background noise, like a busy call centre or something. I just cut the call off. Later, I checked the number on 1471 and it showed it was from my local area, which is strange because I live in a sort of quiet, rural part of western Scotland. I'm guessing it's a scam.

I spoke with an Asian gentleman who had quite a thick accent and struggled a bit with his English, which made it quite tricky to catch every word. There was a lot of chatter and noise in the background, making me think he was likely in some sort of call centre.
