Someone called saying they were from EON, but it was obvious they weren’t actually with the company - total scam.

They wanted to chat with my manager, claiming to be from EON energy. Even though we do use EON, I never let the call get passed on. It sounded like a call centre, and the people on the line didn't even speak English properly. If they were legit, they’d know my manager’s name and ask for them directly. Also, before anything was said, there was a robotic voice saying the call was coming from YELL! Proper giveaway that it wasn’t genuine.
