So, I received a call supposedly from some outfit called TALK TALK, claiming that my computer and laptop were infected or something. When I mentioned I wasn't going to fiddle with any settings, especially since I work in a legal setting, he abruptly went away to consult his 'Senior’. Upon returning, he said they’d ring me back to guide me through entering some code on my laptop - MH29ST, or whatever it was. I quickly hung up, did a bit of sleuthing about scams, and it dawned on me that they were indeed trying to pull a fast one!

Received a call supposedly from Talk Talk. They were going on about my internet being sluggish and offered assistance to enhance its speed - but then they just cut off mid-sentence. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
