Got a call from a woman using this number, saying she was with the telephone preference service trying to check and update our details. She then asked for the expiry date on my visa debit card, followed by the last 10 digits of it. That immediately set off alarm bells for me, and I told her I wasn’t comfortable giving that info. She sounded a bit irritated and kept insisting everything was legit. I wasn’t convinced at all, so I ended the call straight away.
