Warning About a New Scam I got a call at home from 01367751033 with a recorded voice telling me that a £600 transaction had been done on my MasterCard to some foreign account. The automated message said if I didn’t authorise it, I should press 1. I just ended the call and called MasterCard’s fraud department myself. They told me this is a new scam going around and as long as I didn’t press 1 or share any info, nothing would happen. Apparently, if you do press 1 or hand over details, they’ll have to cancel your card and send a new one out. Best to just hang up straight away.
