I tried picking up but no reply, suddenly a voicemail kicked in and in the background, there was this Asian voice from a call centre mumbling something like ‘please just give me one chance’.

First it was quiet, then I heard a beep followed by some robotic voice saying "goodbye." So annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they were BT broadband and that my internet would be cut off for 3 days unless I let them access my computer to fix a problem. Seemed dodgy straight away, but I double checked with BT - definitely a scam.
