This has gotta be the second time I've gotten a dodgy call from this number pretending to be from Amazon.

Received a couple of calls on my home phone from this number earlier. Both times, an automated message warned me about some dodgy activity on my Amazon account. One call mentioned a £3,000 purchase and the other said £300. They told me to hang about on the line to talk to an agent, but I hung up straight away.
Had a look at my Amazon account afterwards and everything seemed fine, no weird transactions or anything.

Got a call which seemed like it was from my bank, but it was a total scam trying to get my info. Definitely a security trick.

Scammers have copied this private number, and although BT knows about it, they’ve told me there’s nothing they can do to fix it. Only get in touch if you actually know the person living there, otherwise just ignore it and don’t ring back.
