My elderly folks, both in their eighties, got a call from this number the other day. It was a recorded message, spoken by a posh-sounding English lady, saying something like, "£600 has been taken from your bank and sent overseas." The message asked to press 1 for more info. I told my mum to just ignore it straight away. It really upset them, and I’m glad I was around to calm things down. When I tried to check the number, it supposedly belonged to a legit company in Knutsford, Lymm, Cheshire, that rents out china and glassware for hospitality. That made the whole thing even more confusing.
