I've put them on the TPS list and told OFCom about it but still get the calls. I reckon since I've picked up, they know my number is real, so they just keep ringing.

Got a call from this number saying it was an “automated Amazon call” saying they’d charge £39.99 to my “Amazon Prime account” and to press 1 if I didn’t want it. The funny thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime! I’ve since found out it’s a SCAM. Plus, your site says this number’s from a normal landline, which makes it even more suspicious. This should seriously be looked into by the police!

Does anyone have any idea who this might be? They rang but didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. It’s strange - a UK company calling and not leaving a message? Seems like it could be some automated system just randomly dialing numbers.
