Pretty sneaky call - I picked up and the person just said ‘hi’ followed by my first name, sounding urgent and like they knew me well. I thought it might be someone I knew, maybe calling from a different number because of something unusual or urgent. The phone showed a Newton Abbot area code, where a mate of mine lives, which made it even more believable. Then, the call dropped. Without giving it a second thought, I rang back, but when I got that hold music, it dawned on me this was probably a scam. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Wczoraj zadzwonili do mnie z polskiego numeru komórkowego, twierdząc że mam do wypłaty ponad 40 tysięcy złotych, bo ktoś rzekomo wykorzystał moje dane osobowe w handlu kryptowalutami - jak dla mnie bardzo dziwna sprawa. Dzisiaj po 16-tej dzwonił ten sam numer +441364400028, bo się umówiliśmy na rozmowę, ale nie odebrałam, bo numer był zagraniczny i obawiałam się, że rachunek będzie koszmarny. Swoją drogą zastanawiam się czy w tym całym przekazie jest choćby ziarno prawdy - facetowi nawet powiedziałam, że nagrywam rozmowę, ale to go nie zraziło i dalej mówił, więc przez chwilę pomyślałam, że może jednak mówi prawdę. Co wy sądzicie o tym wszystkim???
