I got a cold call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying a £399 purchase for an iPhone 7 was ordered to be sent to Manchester on my account. He told me to open the App Store and log into “Quick Support” then download Team Viewer so he could control my iPad and get a 9 digit code. I realised this was dodgy and ended the call pretty quickly. The phone call came from Crediton, but they also rang from a Birmingham number 01212472461.
