At 8:45 this morning, got one of those usual muppets telling me my internet’s been hacked and they’re gonna cut it off or something. Typical rubbish!

Got a call on my home phone from 01363 08784 around 13:35 on 22 January 2019. It was a recorded voice saying it was British Telecom, warning that my internet would be cut off unless I pressed 1 immediately. I didn’t fall for it, cos I’m pretty familiar with these kinds of scams. Obviously, they’d try to get me to share my bank info or something. I just let it ring out and hung up. Still got my internet running fine, so clearly it wasn’t a legit BT call.
