Got a recorded call claiming Amazon was about to charge me £39.99. I rang up Amazon’s support and they told me it definitely wasn’t from them. Pretty clear it’s a scam then!

I got a call from 01362703812 with an automated voice saying my card was charged £200 at Amazon and if I wanted to cancel, press 1. I didn’t press any buttons and rang my bank straight away. Luckily, the bank said there were no £200 purchases from Amazon on my account recently.
