7 yearsA woman rang claiming to be from BT's call blocking team and wanted to know if I was still being bothered by nuisance calls. She went on about how they were still trying to improve the service but needed more time to fix things properly. When I asked which company she was with exactly, she just abruptly hung up. She spoke English quite well and had an accent, so she sounded believable at first. But things got shady when she asked for my card information - that’s when I knew something was off. Honestly, I wouldn’t pick up if you get a call like that!7 yearsSome bloke claiming to be from BT phoned me up and said there was an issue with our IP address and that they'd have to disconnect our system. I instantly got suspicious and just hung up, thinking it was a dodgy scam.BTSubmit Your Own Report (01362 560258)
