My daughter’s phone keeps ringing like 3 times every day with this silent caller. I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of accident claim firm, but the funny thing is she’s not even old enough to have a driving licence! Such a weird situation.

The number looked local but it was definitely a fake location. They actually knew my name and started telling me about some car crash supposedly within the last few years, which I never had. They assured me they'd remove me from their list yet again. Last time they phoned, I played along and he kept going on about if the accident was my fault and how it might have upset me, gave me headaches, maybe I needed paracetamol - suggesting I could still get a claim sorted. It’s so frustrating! Why do decent, law-abiding folks have to deal with this nonsense? The caller was from ICS or something similar.
