Got a dodgy call the other day from someone claiming to be British Telecom. They said my internet was going to get switched off because apparently, my IP address had been compromised. Then there was this automated voice telling me to press 1 if I was a BT customer or 3 if I wasn’t. Sounded totally fake and like a scam to me.

Got a call claiming to be from British Telecom saying my internet might get disconnected because apparently my IP had been compromised. Then the automated voice told me to press 1 if I’m with BT or 3 if I’m not. The whole thing sounded like a dodgy robot.
