7 yearsI just received a dodgy phone call claiming to be from BT. The caller said they were reaching out to let me know that my internet connection was on the verge of being severed because they had proof of some sort of hack involving my IP address. They then instructed me to press 1 if I was a BT subscriber and 3 for everyone else, all delivered in a very robotic and mechanical voice. What a scam!BT7 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be with British Telecom, stating that my internet service would soon be terminated due to them having proof that my IP address had been compromised. They went on to instruct me to press 1 if I was a BT customer and 3 for everyone else. The whole interaction had a rather robotic, pre-recorded feel to it.British TelecomSubmit Your Own Report (01362 472559)
