Today, I received a phone call from a gentleman speaking with a thick foreign accent, claiming to represent my internet service provider. He informed me that my broadband connection had been breached and that my privacy could be at risk. Given that my provider is BT, I have strong suspicions that this is nothing more than a scam.

Just got a call from 01362049455 saying they are my internet provider. They mentioned some sort of tech issue that needs fixing and asked me to press a button... I didn’t trust it and ended up blocking the number. Probably a spammer.
