They claimed to be from BT but it was a total scam, don’t bother talking to them. I’ve already informed BT’s security team about it.

Someone phoned me, said they knew us and started asking about our smart meter, then just hung up without saying who they were. Total mystery caller!

They rang me at 9 in the morning, I didn't pick up, but then I heard them say goodbye before hanging up.

There was a call at about 8:30 in the morning, but when I answered, it was just silence. Then some recorded voice came on at the end saying goodbye. Very odd!
