Got a call from a lady who said she worked for BT, telling me someone was trying to hack into my broadband every night at midnight. I asked her for my customer number to prove she was legit, but she just gave me some random mix of letters and numbers. When I told her I didn’t recognise it, she just ended the call. Tried ringing the number back and it just doesn’t work, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam!
