as expected, the call just ended with "you've reached a wrong number," and no follow-up message. i didn’t pick up, so i’m clueless about what this scam was about. loads of these calls seem to come from this same area code around elgin in north-east scotland. sounds like some big operation going on - if only ofcom had the means and skills to investigate it properly. or maybe they just don't bother.
