this morning i got loads of scam calls, the last one was from a woman with a foreign accent, sounded like it was a recording. she claimed to be from bt and warned me my internet would be disconnected later today. she said if i wanted an engineer to fix it i needed to press 1. obviously i just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got two calls earlier today, both claiming they were from BT (which I’ve never been a customer of), warning me my internet would be cut off if I didn’t reply in a specific way.

Got a recorded voicemail from a woman who sounded like she was from Scotland but had a really strong American twang. She was trying to scare me into thinking my internet was about to be cut off unless I rang her back to sort it out. Nearly fell for it, but lucky I didn’t. Of course, no shock at all - my internet’s still working perfectly fine.
