This person claiming to be from Global rang me out of the blue. When I asked where they got my number from, especially since it's unlisted and I’m on the TPS, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. I told them they could face a hefty fine for ringing me like that. Then the line just cut off, and I could hear some sort of automated dialing noise in the background.

I got a call for the third time and managed to get past my caller ID. The woman on the line had an accent I couldn’t quite catch and claimed to be from Windsor Global. She asked for my email to send info about some “guaranteed investment” deal. I told her I’m on the TPS and that what they were doing was against GDPR rules. She said sorry and promised to remove me from their calling list.

They claimed it was from some database. I told them I believed it was part of a data breach that's currently under investigation and asked again where exactly it came from.
