Got a recorded call from some “BT IT department” sayin my internet was hacked by a foreigner and they’d cut me off in 4 hours unless I press 1 to speak to them. Now, for starters I don’t even have BT. Also, I usually just hang up on any automated message that doesn’t clearly say who they’re calling for. Honestly, that’s a dead giveaway it’s a scam most of the time.
