If this really was "Ellon" in Scotland, then the bloke on the phone sounded like he was from Thailand or somewhere similar, trying to push something for Promise4Life (that's what he said anyway). He gave a second name but it was hard to catch, and honestly, his English was shockingly bad. If this is the kind of 'sales pitch' Promise4Life is putting out there, they’re seriously scraping the bottom of the barrel and I’d steer well clear.

Got a call at half past nine on a Saturday morning - my partner works nights, so it woke us both up. Complete silence on the line then just a 'goodbye'. What a pain!

They hang up on some folks mainly 'cause their stuff is only for over 50s, so they kinda judge your age just by how you sound on the phone. It's pretty funny tho, since you can't really guess someone's age just from their voice. But if they reckon you're under 50, they just end the call straight away.

Had three missed calls from this number, and after seeing what others have said here, I’ve just gone ahead and BLOCKED it. Really don’t know how they’re getting hold of my number since it’s not on any public list.

Loads of people from abroad trying to scam us. Guess it’s some insurance selling (came from India). I’m not sure how straightforward it would be to get a claim sorted from them. Pass, thanks.

+44 1358 300015 is such a hassle, keeps ringing me while I’m abroad and costs me loads to pick up. Honestly, someone should be punishing these folks for making these expensive international calls. Definitely use your phone’s blocking feature to stop this number straight away! On my Galaxy S6: go to call log, hit the more button, then settings, then call blocking, block list, logs, find +44 1358 300015, and hit the green + icon to block it. Bet they’ll just ring me from a different number next, and then I’ll have to block that one too. Telemarketers are seriously annoying. K.

Got a call about Funeral Insurance. I told the guy I wasn’t interested but he just went on saying that’s fine and that someone would be in touch soon to sort out the paperwork and arrange a direct debit. Seemed like he had someone watching or he was trying to look professional. I’ve blocked the number now, hopefully that stops them. Seriously, don’t pick up if this number rings you.

This number has been ringing me loads the last couple of days and even over the past few weeks. I once picked up thinking it was my hospital consultant calling, coz I'm blind and was waiting for him. Now I just use my google talk app to check who's calling, and if i dont know the number i just let it go. This one’s for funeral insurance or something like that. Seriously, dont answer it, just block it PLEASE DONT PICK UP!

Got a call from Lena earlier. Her accent was really hard to make out. She tried to spell a few things out, but then just gave up and ended the call! Honestly, these kinds of calls are super annoying.

It was about funeral cover or something for people over 55. Bit dodgy if you ask me. I’m just 36 but as soon as I said I was 21, they quickly ended the call!
