Just got a call from this number claiming to be from Amazon Prime. Some robotic voice said there was a weird purchase on my account and asked for my card info to “check” who I am. Definitely a scam, so don’t give them any info! Stay safe out there.

Got a call from a woman with an American accent on a recorded message saying I had to renew my Amazon Prime subscription straight away. She said if I had any problems or didn’t think it was legit, press 1 to chat with a Prime rep. Since I don’t even have Amazon Prime, I knew it was a dodgy scam call. I’ve just blocked the number now.

Somebody rang saying my Amazon Prime subscription had to be renewed and they'd take £39.99 from my bank. I told them I've never even signed up for Amazon Prime. They ended up shouting all sorts of horrible swear words at me!
