Got a call from some dodgy company playing a recorded message, saying my BT account was hacked and my internet would be cut off within an hour. They told me to press one to chat with a “software advisor” to fix it, all in this weird American accent. Weird thing is, this happened a few hours back, I don’t even have BT, and there’s no way BT would just switch you off without you reaching out first. Total scam if you ask me.
