This morning I got a call from someone saying they had proof that strangers were fiddling with our internet connection. I was a bit wary but ended up turning my computer on like he told me. Then he told me to put [#]teamviewer[###] into the browser.

I got a call about my bt account, but I instantly knew it wasn’t legit since bt always uses an 0800 number. The person on the line also had a really hard time speaking English properly. When I said I doubted it was a genuine call, the lady started calling me ignorant piglet and a bunch of rude names before just hanging up. Proper nasty lot.

Had another call claiming to be from BT tech support, said my internet was being used by someone else. I told the person I don’t even have internet, then they shouted some rude things at me in a language I didn’t understand before hanging up. They keep ringing from nearly identical numbers, just one digit swapped each time. My phone’s blocked calls list is nearly full thanks to these scam calls. All the numbers start 01357.
