For some time now, I’ve been getting calls from this number about an issue with my internet. The guy on the phone, introducing himself as William from BT, kept saying he needed to fix it. Every time, I’d nicely explain that I only talk about internet issues with my actual service provider. But today, this supposed BT agent lost it and began swearing at me, throwing around loads of swear words. Honestly, it really upset me and made me anxious.

I've received calls from someone claiming there's an issue with my internet connection and that if it's not resolved promptly, my service could be cut off for a fortnight! They mentioned needing engineering assistance. Curious, I contacted my actual provider, and they assured me everything is running smoothly. I strongly advise you not to share any personal information with these callers.

What's the deal with BT, Sky, and Virgin? Why can't they manage to block these pesky calls? We're shelling out money for line rentals and all we get is a load of grief!

somebody called me sayin my internet was having issues and might get disconnected for 15 days if not fixed soon. they said they'd need to send an engineer out. i rang my provider after and they said there is no problem at all. definitely dont share any info with these callers, no matter what!

I've received a barrage of calls from this number lately, beginning at a rather inconvenient 7:40 this morning. By the time it hit 8:30, I had already been interrupted four times! I only picked up on the fourth attempt, but there was no one on the line. One would think that being on the Telephone Preference Service list would mean something; can’t someone do something about these persistent nuisances?

An Indian woman informed me that my service provider was bombarding my phone with numerous error alerts, so I simply ended the call.

Got a call around 12:25 from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from the “tech team” of my internet company. I usually try to play along just for fun, but honestly it feels useless since these annoying scam calls never stop. Ended up just hanging up!

So, like, this morning super early this Indian woman calls me up sayin my internet was acting up or summat. Proper annoying, innit?

Rang me at 7:43 this morning... apparently, they have a habit of calling every hour, based on what I've seen on other sites.

This number rang me five times, starting bright and early at 7.39 a.m. After the fourth ring I finally picked up, only to get yet another call straight after. When I answered that one, a bloke with a foreign accent said he was from my internet company. That’s when I lost it and told him off for lying because he’d called five times without leaving a single message. He hung up sharpish, so fingers crossed I won’t be hearing from them again!

I got a call super early from someone who sounded like they wasn’t local, saying they were from BT and checking if my internet was ok. Thing is, my broadband’s with TalkTalk, so I found that a bit dodgy. Honestly, I’m so tired of coughing up for my phone bill just so random people can either try to sell me stuff or scam me, even though I’m signed up to the priority phone service. In the end, I just let him keep blabbering and tried to catch some more sleep.

Got a ring at 7.45am today from someone pretending to be Virgin Media, saying my computer was sending out a ‘virus’. Lovely way to start the week with the usual nonsense from the pwhat pwhat pwhat crowd. Played along for around 10 minutes before telling her BT were watching the call and their security team were tracking the number right now. Then, got cut off!

Beware of this dodgy operation attempting to gain entry to your computer! They'll likely push you to install either Ammyy or LetMeIn, and that's when you find yourself in a right pickle. Honestly, it's best just to tell them to take a hike or something along those lines. Having some experience in the realm of computers, I was able to evade their traps, but I have to admit, it turned out to be quite the amusing encounter!

They called me six times on Friday, the 4th of November, between 11:47 and 14:35, and didn’t bother to respond when I answered. Now, they’ve already had two attempts this morning-and it’s barely 8:13!

Got a text saying my computer warranty was up and that I needed to call some bloke called John to sort it out. Really dodgy, so I just blocked the number.

I got a call from someone who introduced himself as 'John', which I’m pretty sure was just a cover - maybe from India or somewhere similar. He claimed there was an issue with my computer, but I ended the call straight away without saying a word!

So I got a call from someone saying they were a BT tech, telling me there was some kind of security issue with my router. They said they were ringing from London but the number actually had a Strathaven code. The guy asked if he could get remote access to my PC to sort it out - sounded like a total scam to me, probably trying to nick my banking info or other private stuff.
