Got a call from a guy with a foreign accent claiming I showed interest in beginner investments just before Christmas. When I said I hadn’t, he started rattling off my address, postcode and website as “proof” I was mistaken. I kept questioning him just to keep him chatting, and he then suggested maybe someone else in my home put in the request using my info. Told him I’m on my own and he asked if maybe a guest had done it. After a bit, he seemed to lose interest and hung up on me :D
