Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying to press 1 to speak with their tech team to stop internet disconnection or press 2 to disconnect. I pressed 1 but they didnt pick up straight away while I was trying to note down their number. I muttered a few choice words, then a man said thanks for pressing 1 and that I was being connected to the tech dept. Then an asian woman came on and I told her it was a scam and I'd report the number. She just said ‘go on then’ but the line stayed open. Watch out for these!
