I gave this number a ring and encountered a rather amusing yet slippery lady who was intent on peddling government-linked advertising for alarm systems. It felt quite off-kilter. She mentioned something about a "Free Crime Survey" - but I politely declined the rather aggressive pitch. To put it bluntly, it reeked of a hard-sell scam. 1 out of 20, frankly. No thanks!

A young lady contacted us to discuss some changes in government policy regarding solar panels. We made it clear that we’re on the Telephone Preference Service list, but he asserted this only pertains to cold calls, claiming he wasn't trying to sell us anything. We asked him to remove our information from their records, to which he stubbornly claimed there were none to begin with. Then we probed a bit further, asking if he was working for the government since he seemed to have insider knowledge. After some back and forth, he finally conceded that he wasn’t, and we decided to hang up.

This number seems to call our answering machine two or three times every day, yet they never leave a message. It's as if they don’t even bother to listen to what’s been recorded. Quite peculiar, really!

Received a call from this number earlier; it turned out to be a scam trying to sell me solar panels.

I recently had an encounter with SAS Security Systems, and to be quite honest, I reckon their services are nothing short of a complete scam. It’s hard to swallow how they operate!

I answered the phone, only to have the caller hang up as soon as we pointed out they had the wrong person in mind. It's been a whirlwind of calls over the past week!

I've been receiving calls from this number lately, with the callers claiming to represent some governmental funding body while offering solar panels and energy-saving solutions. Quite frankly, I thought being on the telephone preference list meant I wouldn’t be bothered by these telemarketers! It’s rather frustrating, to say the least!

The first time my partner answered the phone, she was immediately pitched solar panels, to which she politely said no thank you. However, after that, we were inundated with calls - it was as if the phone was on a loop! They would ring us again, just as soon as we hung up, and this carried on for a good half an hour. It's clear these folks don't seem to understand the meaning of "no"!

I had a rather civil phone call from a lady representing Crime Awareness, who wanted to grill us with four questions to keep us informed about local happenings. However, the moment we mentioned that my other half is a police officer and that we are already quite clued up on crime in our neighbourhood, she promptly ended the conversation.

Absolutely! Just another case of con artists pushing solar panels on unsuspecting folk. I'm officially signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so these calls have no business coming through. It's outrageous! Those who orchestrate this should face the music, but let’s not forget about the poor souls on the other end of the line - they’re just trying to earn a living and likely dread their job. Place the blame where it truly belongs!

Received a call from this number, and honestly, it was quite dodgy. The woman on the line was all over the place, claiming to represent government agencies while hawking alarm systems that cost about two grand. She was offering a “complimentary crime assessment” too! No chance I’m falling for that. Definitely sounds like a scam trying to reel in gullible folks.

I received a call from someone asking for a Mr ******* and then they promptly hung up without saying anything further. Quite odd, really!
