Got a call at 7:28 this morning from a phone number starting with the Renfrewshire area code. Some woman claiming to be from Amazon tried to scare me by saying there was a dodgy order on my account for over £700. She went on about it being paused until I hit 1 to talk to someone to verify it. Honestly, with all the worrying news about the weather lately, it felt like she was preying on that anxiety. I told her to jog on and made sure to block the number so they can't ring again.
