Received a call from what seemed to be a security initiative. They claimed that our household was one of a select few chosen to receive a complimentary alarm system. When I mentioned that we already had one, the caller pressed for details about the type we owned. It felt rather suspicious, as if they could be fishing for information on vulnerable homes to target. As soon as we mentioned the Telephone Preference Service, they abruptly ended the call. Quite telling, if you ask me!
