I got an email claiming to be from a mate of mine, saying they “needed a favour” (exact words) and it came from his email, which had been hacked along with his contacts. Thing is, my friend doesn’t live in East Kilbride, his phone doesn’t start with 01355, and his postcode definitely isn’t G74. It was a really obvious fake - even a kid could spot it straight away. I reckon we all know what that “favour” was about!
