The number looked like it was from nearby. I got an automated message saying it was Visa or Mastercard, telling me there’d been a £700 transaction sent through Western Union. They asked me to press a button to talk to someone about it. As soon as that happened, I hung up. Later on, I looked into it and realised it was definitely a scam.

Got a call from a number that looked local but it was a scam about paying 900 quid for some visa fee. Total scam!
