Got a robo call saying it was Amazon about some Prime account I supposedly had. Pressed 1 to chat with an agent, and shockingly, the bloke on the other end had my name and address spot on. Then he asked for my email, and once I gave it, he claimed he could see the Prime charges linked to it. After that, he started asking about my smartphone - which I don’t own - and the moment I told him that, he just hung up. I tried calling back using the 1471 number to get the caller’s details, but the number turned out to be non-existent!

Got a robocall saying my Amazon Prime subscription was about to expire and they’d take £39.99 from my bank. It told me to press 1 if I wanted to speak to someone. I don’t even have an Amazon account, so it’s clearly some kind of scam!
