Got a call from someone named Sonja claiming to be from Comfey, from the number 01333 457269. I looked the number up and ended up on this site. Tried calling back but the line was dead.

Got a robo call saying my Company Mastercard was charged £600, but we don’t even have one! They asked me to press 1 to confirm the transaction. I just hung up straight away and looked it up afterwards - definitely a scam!

Yesterday, I got a call from 01353634456, somewhere in Ely, and the person was trying to pitch some cheap holiday deals. I told them I’d need some time to consider. Then today, the same lady rang from 01613940018, this time from Manchester, saying she’d called before and the offer won’t last long. When I pointed out she said she was in Cambridge yesterday but now Manchester, she replied they’ve got offices all over. Feels dodgy to me, like it might be a scam.

Platinum weeks claims they offer bonus weeks to those with timeshares or previous owners, charging £168 a week. But watch out, they’re not registered and only use a mail drop spot in London’s centre. Definitely steer clear, feels just as dodgy as catching Covid!

Got a call from 01353634456 earlier and when I picked up, all I could hear was people chatting in the background. It was obvious it was one of those annoying nuisance calls, so I just ended it. Isn’t there some law to stop these telemarketers? Why hasn’t this company been taken to task yet?!

Got a call around half eight tonight but didn’t pick it up, no voicemail either. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

So this bloke called Lee was trying to tell me I’d got these platinum weeks because of the maintenance fees I’d paid on my timeshare, which honestly I never did. I mucked about with him, pretending to be a daft old lady for a bit, and eventually he just hung up on me.

Got a ring from a bloke claiming to be from Platinum Weeks, reckoned I’d accumulated a couple of weeks from some timeshare I supposedly owned years ago (haven't had one for well over a decade!). He said it was due to me paying maintenance fees before, which is nonsense as I never did. To unlock these weeks, he wanted £163. When I said I was skint, he dropped it to a £90 deposit. I fibbed and said I’m unemployed, and that seemed to do the trick - he quickly hung up!

They called and asked for me by name, but the person on the line had a really sneaky, hard-to-make-out tone. They told me I supposedly had four weeks of free holiday stays at some RCI resort, apparently because of an old timeshare I’d owned. Claimed this offer was about to run out. I didn’t admit to owning any timeshare and told them I wasn’t interested. They kept pushing even after I said no, definitely trying to trick people into signing up for new timeshare deals.

Never gave them my name, just asked who they were. Turns out it was Platinum timeshare, saying I’ve got loads of holiday weeks to use. I’ve told them before I’m not bothered unless the offer is free.

Got a call earlier today, someone kept asking for a Mr Robert, which isn’t anyone I know. When I asked who it was, they just wouldn’t say and kept repeating the name. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away. Checked other comments and looks like it’s holiday club salespeople - I had a timeshare but sold it ages ago, like over 20 years back. These folks really are a pain to deal with.

Got a call about some platinum timeshare holiday weeks thing. I gave up my RCI ages ago, like 17 years back. The phone rang a couple of times and went straight to answer machine with weird static noises. When I finally picked up after a few calls, they just wouldn't accept me saying 'not interested, please remove me from your list'. Now I’m just waiting for another dodgy call on my unlisted number so I can ‘chat’ with them! Seriously, my tip is don’t bother engaging - just put the phone down straight away.

I picked up my phone and they said I supposedly had some four weeks with Platinum resorts that ended today. I told them right away that I’m not a member at all. Plus, I mentioned I can’t even travel anywhere around the UK at the moment. I also requested they take my number off their calling list. Fingers crossed they actually do that.

They called me again back in July! They asked if I knew I had four free weeks of holiday and what my plans were. I told them I was aware but wasn’t interested in discussing it. Then I just hung up. Clearly some dodgy scheme to try and get cash out of me.

I received yet another bothersome automated call, but honestly, the robotic voice was so garbled that I could hardly make out a word. We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and as soon as we uncover their identity, we'll be reporting them to the Information Commissioner's Office for this violation.

something like gold crown resorts called me the other day, asking why i hadn't claimed my free holiday weeks. seems they snatch your details from a dodgy list of timeshare owners. apparently, years ago, a unhappy employee from a popular timeshare firm stole and sold the list to a sketchy resale company. ever since, it’s been bouncing around. really annoyin, innit? best bet might be to get a new phone number or just play along and give them a load of grief. i flat out told them to buzz off and not to bother calling again!
