I kept getting calls from someone saying they were from "TalkTalk", but the person on the phone had an obvious Asian accent and it felt really dodgy. It was clearly a scam, so I told them off quickly and then reported the whole thing to TalkTalk. They seem to use a few numbers like this too.

Got a call from someone pretending to be my internet provider, telling me to do stuff on my computer so they could “help out.” It all sounded fishy, like they were trying to get remote access to hack in or something. Thankfully, I didn’t fall for it and just hung up straight away. Be careful, these scammers really know how to try and trick you into letting them control your devices!

someone phoned me saying they were from talktalk, my internet company, saying there was an issue with my connection that i might not know about. i told them last week i wasn’t convinced and just ended the call. since then ive had a couple more calls where I heard that fake call centre noise in the background but whenever I talk, no one answers.

Got a couple of calls from this number today, but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Tried ringing back, but ended up hearing a message saying the number doesn’t exist. Bit odd if you ask me.
