Just had a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be from a "Housing Disrepair Service" about my rental situation. I mentioned I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list and that this call seemed like complete rubbish. He didn’t waste any time and promptly hung up. Classic scam or just another annoying spammer!

They said they’d sort it out by the 31st of this month (it’s the 28th of December now). Then they asked if I lived in a council or rental place, which I don’t. They also asked for my name and got it right.
