Certainly looks like a scam to me. They said I’d only be charged through my Barclaycard and that I could get a great offer from BT if I just paid once.

Got a call around lunchtime from someone saying I could save loads on my phone bill if I just handed over a one-off payment of £12.99. Then they started asking for my visa or mastercard details! I didn’t wait around - just cut the call straight away. Watch out, this is definitely some sort of scam.
