This morning, I got a call from a bloke named Adam, sounded Indian by the way he spoke. He claimed my computer was throwing out serious error messages. I wasn’t having any of it and told him straight up he was a scammer and a crook. Despite that, he kept pushing me to check my computer. Eventually, I gave him a piece of my mind and told him to jog on, then he cut the call.

On 16/03/17 at about 4:44pm, I got a call from this number. The bloke had an Indian accent and kept asking for the time. I told him straight up it was a scam, but he said no way. So, I blew my favourite whistle loud three times. I waited to hear something back but he just vanished!

Some bloke rang up my granddad, who’s well into his 80s, pretending to be from Windows and saying there was a serious problem with his PC. Luckily, my uncle grabbed the phone and told him to stop bothering an old, vulnerable guy. Got a call from some scammer telling me my Windows computer was flashing loads of error alerts. I told him that's odd because I don't own a Windows machine. Then he asked if I had a Mac, I said yes, and jokingly asked if he enjoyed being a crook. That was the end of the call.

When I said that, the guy quickly shifted the timeline to maybe 72 hours. Then he tried to get me to open some software so he could “show me” the problem.
