Got a call around half past ten in the morning but there was no noise at all when I answered. I tried saying hello a few times but nothing, so I just ended the call.

I got two calls from the same number, the very first one pretending to be Virgin Media - how cliche! I played along a bit, keeping things vague, then told them I’m not daft enough to fall for their tricks and they just hung up on me. Then, after a few hours, they rang again. Seriously, not just scammers but proper pests as well.
