I got a call from 01352741749, which I think is a Mold, Flintshire number. The guy on the line sounded Indian and said he was from Openreach. He claimed there was a slowness issue with our broadband and wanted to assist in sorting it out. After I told him everything was working fine, the call just finished.

Got a ring from 352 741748 claiming there was some issue with my internet and offering to upgrade it to fibre optic, which is just not possible where I live out in the sticks. While I was talking, I did a quick speed test and everything was fine. As soon as I questioned them, they just cut the call. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me. Watch out!

had a call from two guys who said they were with openreach, both had indian accents and one gave his name as stephen, i forgot the others name. when i asked them where exactly in london they were based, they couldn’t say. then i tried 1471 and it showed the number as 01352 741748, which turns out to be in wales, not london at all. quite fishy if you ask me.

Not sure who that was. I answered but stayed quiet, and then they just ended the call.

some numpty rang saying they were from bt about "issues with the lines in your area" or something like that. bit daft really - bt normally rings from an 0800 number so i knew right away it was dodgy. hung up straight away and let bt know about the number, though not sure if it'll help much. flagged the call as sketchy cos i reckon they wanted to scam and get private info.
